Considering selling your products internationally? Know the pros and cons of exporting? Interested in developing new international markets or increasing your worldwide sales? Need to know current market conditions and opportunities around the world?

 

International business questions will be answered by experts who understand foreign markets as well as Wisconsin business concerns.  Hear the WI Depart of Commerce International Directors speak, and schedule an afternoon one-on-one appointment with one or more of them. 

John Krahling from Liquid Waste Technology will discuss his business’ global expansion, including challenges and rewards of international exporting. Then brief presentations from regional, domestic, economic development professionals discuss available regional assistance.

 

Shape and refine your international strategies for new and existing export markets!  Discussion topics could include:  Identification of agents/distributors/buyers, Explanations of foreign business practices, Market research advice and direction, Product potential in foreign markets, How to access legal, banking, and translation services, Domestic and economic development resource assistance.

 

In 2006 Wisconsin businesses exported over $17 billion of products to world markets.  Many of these businesses utilize the expert advice available here and around the world through the Wisconsin Department of Commerce.  Professionals are positioned globally to exclusively help Wisconsin businesses develop international markets and increase worldwide sales.  On May 17 several of these foreign experts will be in Eau Claire to inform and assist you.
