Business Plan Archive
A recent partnership between the Library of Congress, the Center for History and New Media, and the University of Maryland Libraries brings together business plans and planning documents from the early days of the “dot com” boom and subsequent bust. The homepage contains information about recent additions to the site and the “research corner” provides guidelines and recommendations for studying companies. Visitors must register (at no charge) to use the archive, and they can search the materials through an online search engine. The site provides video coverage from 2004 where 13 dot com “survivors” provided insights into their business operations.

Governor’s Business Plan Contest
The Annual Governor's Business Plan Contest engages contestants in a six-month process that includes some mentoring and comments from judges on selected plans. The mission of the contest is to encourage entrepreneurs in the creation, start-up and early-growth stages of high-tech businesses in Wisconsin. Participants have the chance to win seed capital and valuable services that will help them launch their businesses. Wisconsin residents 18 years old and older are eligible, as are teams from Wisconsin-based businesses and organizations.
