Baranowski Associates is a small company with an 80% grant win rate, whose primary members are Laura Baranowski, MS, and Robert Baranowski, JD. Laura has been working in the grant world for fifteen years, including a stint as the State of Wisconsin's SBIR/STTR specialist for several years. Laura got started in grants while working in the UW Madison Department of Biochemistry almost fifteen years ago. Rob is a licensed attorney with extensive grant experience and experience with company start-ups and intellectual property. We can also provide mechanical/electrical/computer engineering expertise utilizing people who have worked with us in the past. Average grant awards to our clients exceed the agency norms.
Services provided: We help people obtain state and federal grants including SBIR/STTR, R01, R34 (clinical trials) and many other types of grants. We've written winning grants from the following agencies: DHHS (Natinal Institutes of Health & Center for Disease Control), Department of Defense (all branches), NASA, National Science Foundation, USDA (Department of Agriculture), National Institute of Standards and Technology, Department of Transportation, Department of Energy, Department of Education, and the Department of Homeland Security. We also help with the creation of business plans. Contract management, angel and venture investing consultation, and grant management services are also offered.
