Company Description

The Greenfield Invention and Patent Consulting, Inc specializes primarily in technical and in intellectual property consulting. This includes writing, filing and prosecuting patent applications, copyright applications, and assistance with trademark applications with the US Patent Office. Currently, Steven H Greenfield is the company president and its only full time employee. The company also helps clients write business plans and conduct marketing research.

Areas of Expertise

Steve Greenfield held engineering and scientist positions with the following companies: Scott Paper (now KC), St Regis Paper (now International Paper), Johnson and Johnson, James River (now Georgia Pacific), Potlatch and Little Rapids. Steve'’s intellectual property experience includes coordinating companywide patenting efforts, analyzing competitors’ patents, and managing intellectual property portfolios. He is the inventor of four patents. Steve also has experience in manufacturing, and in conducting marketing research.

Steve became certified as a patent agent in early 2006 and started a business titled "“Greenfield Invention and Patent Consulting, Inc."

Steve has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University, an MS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, and an MBA from Rider University.

He currently serves as the Vice Chair for the Green Bay, WI chapter of SCORE.
